Spitfires Sign Second Round Pick Mark Cundari

(Windsor) The Windsor Spitfires today announced that they have signed defenseman Mark Cundari, the team’s second round pick, 29th overall in this year’s OHL Priority Selection. Cundari played with the Vaughan Kings at the OMHA Min. Midget level, scoring 16 goals and adding 25 assists for 41 points in 52 games played this past season.

Cundari was also selected to join the Ontario Under-17 team’s final 43-man roster in June and will compete for a spot on the team later this year.

"Mark is an ultra-competitive player and will bring a hard nosed approach along with an excellent skill package to the Spitfires", commented Warren Rychel, Windsor Spitfires Vice-President and General Manager, "Windsor Fans will love the way he competes."
