That's a great website.... I always judge websites by the amount of 'lol's they use.. and that site has more than most.. nice work TC Moose. |

Check out this roster...Buddy Whiteman...Jay Meloff...Mark Asquith. This league isn't even Midget calibre. What a farce. |

Busted big time, by the sounds of it. The only thing left out was his entire name. |

Try again. You assume way too much. Hockey transcends those with kids actively involved in the game. And the comments, frankly, are directed at another league that conspires to take advantage of naive kids and parents who will soon realize that their money has been hijacked. I was in your shoes five years ago and now understand the futility of the money spent this way. But hey, do it your way. |

mario, please dont take me for a fool,i know EXACTLY what you were implying,we all do,to single out the league is one thing but to single out the players and then add "what a farce" at the end of your statement just makes you look foolish, buddy was drafted was your kid!!
hmmmmm silence,i guess your in the same boat as the rest of us eh.unless you know more than the scouts do,what am i thinking,OF COURSE YOU DO!!!your busted, you know it and what i find very amusing is EVERYBODY ELSE KNOWS IT TO.
time to change IP numbers,or dont write any more crap about the kids, the choice is yours. |

You go on believing whatever you want. Just know this. Hockey parents and their money are soon separated. In five years time, reality will crystalize. |

let me tell you what i believe,i believe in freedom of choice,i believe in letting my son pick the team he wants to play on regardless of what other self proclaimed experts think,i believe in positive reinforcement not negative slander,i believe in the almighty above and last but not least,i believe what comes around goes around,PLEASE DONT PREACH SOMETHING YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!!!and leave all of the kids alone on this site they to have parents that may not be as forgiving as myself |

You might not agree with Mr. Cammerota, but he is correct in some aspects. The kids pointed out (including the goalie & some other AA players)would probably not make a Midget AAA club except for 1 & he would make it for all the wrong reasons.
The Moose team has definitly been the most promoted of the teams. One would expect them to attract some of the better available players. Their player signings have not been very impressive.
I do like the concept of the league & I hope they are successful. You could spend your $3000 to $5000 playing Midget AAA or this new league. I think the calibre will be better in Midget but if their concepts & number of practices hold true development may be better in the GMHL.
I think the calibre will get better if they pull off a year of success irregardless of the level of players. Most of the parents of better players are just too nervous that the league may not make it through the year. If they do see it's a viable alternative some of the better players may make that selection. |

funny thing, all three of the kids had AAA teams to go to but chose to try the moose,if what your saying is true that there is only one kid AAA material how do you explain that! you cant, are these kids worse than everyone else in AAA???hell no, are they better than say the draft picks, hell no,i would say middle of the pack, will they get better, only time will tell, just so you know the kids were asked to be on the team and did what was best for them, you may be suprised by the start of the season who in fact is looking to play in this league, withold judgement unil the rosters are set. |

Why worry and spend so much energy on someone elses kid. If this is where the kid wants to play and his parents endorse the decision, so be it. At the end of the day, your life will not be effected by the manner and decisions that another family makes regarding their sons hockey. The hockey is for the kid. Let them play where they are going to be happy and leave at that. I'm sure their will be a new thread come along soon that you can share your gloom and doom on. Let it die, and refrain from publicly belittling the kids. |
