Do you need a release or go thru approvals from hockey Canada. |

What hoops do you have to go thru to be allowed to play as a 16 year old, as far as Hockey Canada. Has anyone does this? |

I'd think you'd have to get released from the association of you city. I think if you got it from the ohf it would be a "residential move". |

Has anyone gone to the US to play?
If so, how did you enjoy it?
Also did they give you a break on the cost?
What does the team give you? |

Stop the misinformation.
16 year old Canadians will not be allowed to transfer to the U.S.
Hockey Canada will not allow it.
They could play with a U.S. team is if that team is in a Canadian Junior league, such as Saginaw, Plymouth. Forget the empire Jr. League it is not allowed.
They will allow an actual player transfer to if a kid was in a residential school in the U.S. or his parents move to the U.S.
