Perhaps it is a testament to the new rules that (by the Generals website info) a smaller skilled kid like this, 5'7", 145 lbs, will get signed by an OHL club. In the past, anything less than 5'11" bought you a ticket to the back door.

He's playing for the Lindsay Muskies ( OPJHL )

OHL website has him listed on Generals roster (#30) but yes, he's not on General's website roster list.

Gens could only sign 4 90's - Tavares, Delzotto, Howard, Peters. Oshawa appealed to have Franchini who enjoyed great camp on roster, turned down by OHL. Now playing for their affiliate, the lowly Lindsay Muskies where he is their leading scorer after 7 games. Will be called up throughout the season. Should be a mainstay next season.
