East Enders are OHF Hosts ???February 15 2010 at 12:40 PM | Anonymous (no login) |
| This group of kids are going to finish in 6th place (imho). And then they get to represent the best of the GTHL in the OHF's ? ! ?
Why didn't the mighty Kings, Huskies, Hornets or Vaughan bid to host the event. It's going to be embarassing with the East Enders Puddy-Cats even playing in the OHF's. |

Why don't you like them as Hosts?
At least they stepped up to do it...do you have any idea as to how much work is involved in hosting. |

It might explain why the team is in a slump now. More focus on coaching and less on the OHF's might help the team.
They could be 1st rnd victims with 6 weeks of practice before the OHF's. |

In this division, anything is possible.

Seems to me the final of the silver stick was Ajax vs EE. What happened to the "powerhouse" teams there? Come on bring on the excuses. Like the last responder said, anything is possible. There are 6 very good teams in this division including EE. Just because one team played the last game better than the other team does not mean that they are better. They just won the last game. Thats all. If you take any of these teams lightly, your gonna pay. |

Point well made.
All of the top 6 teams have had winning streaks and slumps, and have lost games that some would say they shouldn't have. It's probably going to come down for any of the playoff teams to do well, is that the players show up, suspensions, injuries, solid goaltending, and some may not think so ...coaching. |

East Enders will need to find a better approach than the individual stuff they have been showing during this recent skid. Thats about coaching. |

Why all the talk about the ups and downs of the East Enders? Are they that much of a concern that you can't stop worrying about them? |

I think the thread was started to question their hosting the OHF's and some people had opinions. Don't think there is any real concern for the team as much for the fact that while not finishing well, they will be at the OHF's.
I think I got it right there. I suggest to you that if you have opinions on another team, start a thread :0 |

Can anyone explain where the East Enders coach has been. Missed two big games down the stretch and the All Star day stuff. Did he get canned just before the playoffs???
You are pushing the envelope.
The monitor.

You would just love to hear that he got canned ....RIGHT ??? Did you ever think that coaches also have a life and that possibly he might have needed to be somewhere else. Maybe he had to work, or maybe he had a family thing, or maybe he might not feel well ...WOW why didn't you think about that. Why haven't you asked about when teams, are missing players and as to why? Other coaches also miss games, and that's why they have a coaching staff...so just let it go. And...no I'm not from that team, but enough with the bashing. I know he can handle himself, and dosen't need anyone to do it for him, and really why do you CARE? | |
