Good job Benton. Who would have thought these guys would have made the playoffs?
Hats off to Coach Jones - he wears his emotions on his sleeve & has given his best effort to the program. He is a class act and is not afraid to admit when he makes bad decisions. Win or lose from here on out he's done a fine job..
Here' something to think about Benton:
Assuming Pine Bluff will win this week, Benton has the #3 seed win or lose against Watsen Chapel. Tranlation = a trip to Conway in the 1st round of the playoffs.
However, I also believe (if I'm looking into this correctly) if Benton wins and El Dorado beats Camden, Benton would assume the #2 spot and a home playoff game. Guess who this would be against? Looks to be West #3. Meaning Sprindale & Gus Malzahn. Tell me that wouldn't be an interesting atmosphere!
Also, Bryant (win or lose) all but has a #4 seed locked up unless Catholic beats Conway.
This puts Bryant @ Pine Bluff. I'm pretty sure Pine Bluff has already locked the #1 seed win or lose this week..
And of course, Bauxite keeps rolling. Not sure who they will play but it will be a home game..
