I tend to need to download a lot of songs to get to the good ones. Alot. So many bands are hit or miss these days. You get bands like Mucc who have some truly god-awful songs but also some really, really excellent songs if you look harder. I delete the bad and keep the good. Thus the reason for having whole albums available, to pick and choose the good stuff. At least for me that's the reason. Doesn't stop me from supporting the bands monetarily though, that was my point before. Just because you're a downloader it doesn't exclude you from being a supportive (paying) fan.
