Response to HMV... screwed over! |

Legally (at least in the U.S.) the merchant is responsible for getting the package in your hands -- it's not "yours" until you recieve it.
So just call your credit card company, tell them to stop the charge (or, if they've already paid HMV, tell them you want to dispute the charge). When they ask why, just say, "Duh, i haven't recieved the thing they're charging me for!"
Then contact HMV, tell them you're blocking/disputing the charge, but that you're willing to drop it if they send your disc. I've done this probably half a dozen times over the years, and the merchant always sent a out a replacement.
