a few people do. but they have to WANT to buy the cd. some people hear samples i put on my site and then they're convinced and mail me about buying the cd's cause many of them never bought any jrock cd's before. i think the samples work well. but people who won't buy cd's [can't/won't afford it] will never buy them. i don't hold it against them though...
rotation sites are getting pretty popular with jrock fans, because the times of people having ftp's are gone and it's still a pretty good way for fans to share/recommend music. just 1 track or 2 is usually enough to see if a band sounds good or not and if it's worth trying them out... so i like rotation sites, two thumbs up :D
