Response to yes she was, but...

She's talking about Nookicky?

She's going insane.

EVEN MORE.

I for one never got much into Nookicky. Just not enough variation. It was like Malice Mizer all over again-
A band I respected and loved broke up and then spawned some really boring bands. Really Mana, did you need to
make a band that sounds like every single post-Bara-No-Seidou B-side? While Full's prudction values just
dropped into the crapper (Though have boosted over time.) and the music just feels dull and lifeless to me.
Plus one of my favorite genres was always mixing electronic playfullness with rock music. So when that went,
I certainly went, too.

I couldn't even go to his website after that. I was filled with musicanship shame.

It sums up my entire feelings for 99% of the visual kei scene: I didn't change, the music changed.
and it seems I'm one of the few people who are willing to admit, hell, not only does the emporer not have any
clothes on, I don't think he has any more skin.

Which of course leads to more aggrivation when people start whining about how All American music sounds alike-

Let's set something very, very straight:

When people say something like this, it's obvious their own perspective is a result of what the media shoves down
their throats, and these certain people don't seem to be willing or accepting of the idea of searching.

I think we can all agree that a good 95% of music sucks. Period. You have to wade through a LOT of bullshit
to get to some delicious nougat center, and that's certainly what I had to do to root into Visual Kei.

And that's what I had to do for rock music, rap music, country music, bluegrass music, punk rock Klezmer music, New Wave music, anything, regardless of where it came from.

People lock into one thing. And that makes me sad.

Celebrate diversity!

But by that logical step of logical logistics, shouldn't that also work for any genre of music, including Visual Kei?
People tend to forget that and seem to be willing to throw their hats into the ring for anything that comes along, who
seemingly do what they do to push for attention rather than artistic statement.

People seem to get so offended when someone has a strong statement that they truly believe in, and aren't
willing to throw a sarcasitc smiley anime face in to let everyone in on it.

People should be happy that I'm not being condescending.

PS: I'm still drunk.

PPS:

The ironic thing of course is the fact I just went to a show where people put on white pancake makeup
and play glitter pink stand-up basses.

But they play the theme song to The Forbidden Zone and quote Mr. Show, which makes me happy.
