All of these bands have fandoms that broke off and become segregated .
We all used to post here about Despair Ray and Dir en grey and MUCC etc
But with the fandoms getting bigger,you now have forums just to discuss those bands,so all the fans go there now .
no reason to come here for them anymore
Its all posted in detail, ad nauseum, 12 other places .
So the stuff posted here is more ecclectic and not as well known .
and VKei is still there .and its not as big as it used to be,but its still there ,but its like what was said above.
Its all new indies bands ,most of whom the peeps outside of Japan dont know about .
and no one is so dedicated that they bother to post it anywhere anymore .
And everyone is so focused on the bigger bands i mentioned ,as they now tour outside of Japan ,the info just isnt relayed the way it used to be when it was so much harder to find that stuff out .And alot of the old fans are in Japan now ,so they dont post the info any place anymore

So its not just the scene dying a bit ,its the lack of interest from the people who used to do this kind of stuff .
