We learned this in Part from (building a household by Pastor Thomas Bruscha Grace points...Go there to this site he is wonderful!!
In Our studies and we have many, we have been doing some digging..and here is what we have come up with...In Acts 10 there is no doubt that the door for the gentiles was indeed opened...However at that time Peter was still in control in that chapter meaning cornielus was not part of the Body of Christ but of the Little Flock and Yes a Gentile...now God in chapter one of Genesis created the Heaven and the earth ...why 2 places? and in the end the old earth and Heaven have passed away and again the heavens and the earth are made new...why not just one big place? Because we serve a God of Order....a way had to be made for all and in Chapter 10 of Acts that way was made. But when you fall into the thinking that all will be one room that is not what God represents at all.That would cause great confusion
Now lets build a household...heaven will retain the Body Of Christ and we will govern there...The earth will retain Peter and his little Flock made up of also Jew and Gentile hence Chapter 10 of Acts and they will govern the Earth..
now who are in the the little Flock...Jew and Gentile those who Peter preached to and believed in Christ(In Christ does not only mean the Body of Christ) But not by his death burial and resurrection..Peter doesn't say that in Acts 10 it wasn't time for that yet..Not until Paul and at that time I believe Paul was still in the wilderness being taught by the Risen Christ.
So Peter is building the little Flock for the earthly domain and its not until Acts 15 that Peter stands up for Paul and he takes the reins for the Body of Christ.
God has a Household and it is made up of all believers..The Body of Christ and the group of people the remnant(Little Flock made up of Jew and Gentile) that was before us..Peter added the Gentiles in Acts 10.
Ephesians 2

Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
Lets build a two story house that sits on One foundation all upon the Sonship.. an Heavenly floor and an Earthly floor and furnish the upstairs(Heavenly floor) with bedroom furniture and maybe a sewing room…and the downstairs(Earthly Floor) with living room furniture and the kitchen with the needed items for cooking and eating meals.
Now we know upstairs(Heavenly) has a function and downstairs(Earthly) has a function
Now Ephesians 1:3,2:6 tells us that the Body of Christ will be occupying the heavenly places(Upstairs)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Ephesians 2
2:6
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
So this puts the Body of Christ upstairs (in Heaven) to govern there
Now for Israel(Peter's Little Flock):Exodus 19:5-6 tells us that downstairs will be occupied by the other group in Christ to Govern there.

Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth(downstairs) is mine:
19:6
And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
The foundation of this house is Christ, but he still has two separate places(Gen 1:1),made up of two different agencies. Now they will function probably differently, we(The Body of Christ) probably will be able to go downstairs or they(Little Flock) will be able to go upstairs.
It is all the same household and each section will have a different function, we really don’t know what we will be doing…But just like any house no two rooms are the same or used for the same thing so we just have to leave that up to the Lord as to what our function will be.
The Body of Christ(Jew & Gentile) is Heavnley and the Little Flock(Jew & Gentile) is earthly and all will reside upon the foundation the Christ..
Right division is paramount in finding our position for today in Christ..thank you for this opportunity
