Grandpa and Grandma Longneck

Do you consider them to be Littlefoot's paternal or maternal grandparents?

I think they are his maternal grandparents, based on the coloring of Littlefoot's mother in LBT X and the fact that Bron refers to Grandpa as "Papa LONGNECK" instead of just "Papa."
