I agree that most of the points you listed are not desirable for the land before time series. As for Cera's saying "dump" I have grown to accept it as a typical feature of her way of talking not too different from Petrie's grammar problems and Ducky's yep, yep, yep. I do not really understand why many people are so annoyed about the use of the word dump. What would you have her say instead?
As for songs, I do agree that there ought not to be more than in the sequels, but neither would I approve of a total abandoning of the songs. There were some really good ones throughout the sequels and if there is a chance to get any more beautiful songs I say, take both, the chance for a good song we will remember and the risk of a bad song we will expell from our minds
I would be disappointed about any more contradictions to the original movie or the sequels, though I'm afraid such contradictions are likely to be in the series.
