HCRI has just made a huge climb over the last couple of days. I got in at the end of July when I thought it was in an uptrend. Hope this one turns out better.

It has had a large rise, but the volume is still low. I'm unclear as to whether this is a good thing or bad. Could one of you more experienced traders enlighten me on this?

Thanks for the tip on HCRI. It's a different looking chart for some reason. I wonder if its volume is too light or something?

It certainly fulfils TW parameters. I sort of like it but wonder, too, if its too early. It'll be interesting to watch. It goes on my TW Watch List.

Here's what TW has to say about a breakout on low volume...

I'm not by any means an experienced trader, but I've been re-reading TW's book recently, and here's what he has to say:
p.121 "Volume MUST be heavy during distribution."
p.123 "The technical strength of (a stock)is shown by the lightness of its volume. When you see new highs made on extremely low volume you must realize that any setbacks will be temporary."

BTW, I really like this chart. Good pick. Also, having been burned before on companies-gone-broke, I like its fundamentals.

Thanks for the refresher. I remeber the part about "volume being high during distribution" but not the other.

HCRI doesn't appear on Bigcharts now! What's going on?????

I looked up HCRI on Bigcharts and it disappeared.

My Horsey chart only goes to the beginning of Jan. 2002.

I tried the full name on Bigcharts too, Healthcare Recoveries, but it doesn't show up. What the hell is going on here?

I'll go out and buy the Wall St. Journal tomorrow and see where it's at. It's extra work and I've got enough to do. Can someone find another chart service they use on the net to get the latest price? I'm cursing here.
