Hi, this is my first time being here or any other ted warren forum. i have read ted warren's book a couple of times and have been using charts i bought form the ken roberts company. i am wondering what you guys think of AMCE and BIS. i am wondering about BIS because of the seemingly small move it had in the first half of 99'. even though it only went up to around 4 5/8 the price one might of origninally bought it at in 93'-94' could be around 50 cents giving about a %700 increase. plus the volume seemed to spike up considerably in comparison to what it has been for a long time. i can't imagine that this little movement could be distribution though. i am curious as to what all of your thoughts on these stocks are. thanks

Being an interested (ie invested) bystander, I can give you my insight (for what it's worth).
BIS - I bought in in early 1998 around 1 1/16 and watched it go to 4 5/8 (more that 300%) in less than a year. I did not sell, and have lived with the consequences since.
I was new to Ted's methods then, and believe me it was very difficult watching it go up and back down.
With the experience I have today (watching for fast rises which seem to happen more in today's market than back when Ted traded), I probably would have sold around four and been happy with the return.
However, if I had sold, I would definitely buy again today, because, regardless of how it did in that fast rise, this stock is building some extremely good strength.
This is a long term stock with lots of accumulation.
ACME - Owned thru it's recent move up, and still holding.
I bought this based on its accumulation from early 1994 thru mid 1999, and when it broke the slight down-trend line in July 1999.
Again, this one is building alot of strength and, as always, it's just a matter of time.

STEVE I to bought bis to early and was new to T.W.I have held onto my shares, the upside is that it is starting to get some attention and the price is picking up, it wont be long now, keep your chin up and you will get your due. Glen
