I began purchasing stocks last July using the Ted Warren method. It's a releif to find a discussion group with others who share the same philosiphy. As you know when you discuss this method with friends or relatives they think your nuts!
The 5 stocks i've bought are AMS @2 15\16 (I really like the future of this one); HITK @5 ; NESC @4; PCO @8 5\8 (Today they announced a buyout @ 10.10) My biggest success was IDYN bought@3 1\4 and sold @ 9 1\4.
I would be interested you your opinions regarding the stock market today vs. the stock market of Ted Warrens time with regards to information availability, buyer participation, volume and how this affects the ability of a person or a group of persons to affect the stock price (strong hands). I personally don't believe it happens to the degree it did then. I really appreciate the opportunity to share ideas with such enlightend investors!

Hello Dan: Manipulation has been going on forever. The few are strong and the mass is weak. Its been a psychology game since time began. The stock market of TW day was also in the strongs hands. TW noticed this action was taken place on the few charts that were available at that time. Thats why he started to draw his own charts. He saw that a stock was quite, and then all of a sudden the the bait was set. the bite was on. the more bait the more fish were lured. And when enough fish were caught there was no more bait put out. This is how TW came up with the four phases of the price cycle. The repitition of these cycles happend so many times that TW took notice. In those days manipulation worked and today it works, and tomorrow its going to work.I am thankful there was a Ted Warren or i might be at the mercy of the strong hands and not even know it.
