I bought 100 shares each of MAGS (Magelby Security) and IDYN (Innerdyne) last August on recommends for Investolator. MAGS has remained flat at aroudn 3 1/2 with a false breakout that hit 5. IDYN hit 10 but fell quickly after that and remains at 4. I might have been able to tell it at 8. Did anyone sell IDYN when above 6 over the past year?

I too bought IDYN on advice from the Investolater. It rose rather quickly to 10 on increasing volume. I sold at 9 which turned out to be almost perfect. It is one of the few early Investolater buys that actually worked out. Others like AMS & HITK, although good companies have not grown.

That was a false breakout-- there's lots of upside potential yet.

I could be wrong but it seems to me that given the long period of accumulation from 1994 through to 2000, that what was a pretty small rise.
You could be right thought-- it's just that this one is really hard to interpret. Usually a TW breakout is going to last a lot longer than a mere month, then settle down again.

I'm in 100 shares of IDYN since Oct. 1999 when it was $4. It's now at around 6.50 with a P/E of 47! Sheesh. I don't know if that can be sustained. It doesn't seem possible. My target is around 14 over the next few years.
I'm in 100 shares of MAGS since Oct. 1999 when it was 3.50. It's now at $6 with a P/E of 15. Still way high, but at least it's not 47. My target is $10 over the next few years.
