Larouchepub.com cites Enron Corp. as a major "culprit" in the profit seeking that's sinking California and creating problems for GWBush.

I looked at Enron's chart at Bigcharts.com. I had to look it up and the results you get when you enter 'enron' are confusing. There are a multitude of Enron corporations. The one at the top only lets you look at data over the past year.

The past year for Enron, as far as I can tell, would have been TW-predictable, but without more historical data I can't be sure. Maybe someone here can focus in on it.

Of course, it's too late to get in on Enron. The run-up has already been accomplished. It looks to me as if it went from 15 to 50 within 6 months!

The "privatization" of the public power supply in California has been a boon to Enron and I think there's something to be said for Larouche's views that power production needs to be put back under a public utility control. At no time in the mainstream media have I hear "Enron", yet take a look for yourself. This whole power shortage thing in CA may be NOTHING MORE than a run-up in stock prices of the private share held companies that run power companies in CA.

Never assume the obvious is true-- William Safire (I'm pretty sure of this quote but I'll double check).

Enron subject of Business Week mag this week.

I noticed that Enron was on the cover of Business Week this week.

I realize that this may not be directly related to a Ted analysis, but I must say that I seem to interested lately in looking at stocks that ARE in the news, THEN looking at their chart to see if it can be analyzed by a Tedhead.

I still can't figure Enron, but I think it would be worthwhile to get a fix on it.

Enron TV ads talking about fat bandwidth now.

What is Enron-- a power company or an internet company? I just saw an ad on TV from Enron that boasts of it's ability to provide big bandwidth. Yet Enron is at the epicenter of the California power shortages.

I've tried to find Enron's chart so I can look at it from a TW perspective, but I haven't been able to zero in on it. Can anyone help and find me the "right" Enron out of the list of them you get with the Bigcharts search engine? The first one only shows data for a year-- but certainly Enron has been around longer than that.

I'll be researching Enron over the next week or so until I get this figured out.

Hey, ESeward, welcome back! Nice to have you around here... Thanks for the reference to Enron too! ENE is it for sure.

Look at that ENE, will ya? Geez! PERFECT TW technicals, taking off at the beginning of '99 and sure enough, run-up to recent months as the publicity of the CA power shortage hit the media bigtime.

I'm not sure how deregulation and privatization played into the hands of the insiders and strong hands, but it DID, didn't it? Next, I'm going to try to find out what the history of deregulation in CA was-- when did it begin? AT the start of '99? Earlier? I wonder what the news reports were at the beginning of '99 to cause the definite price-rise?

Look at the long period of accumulation opportunity for the strong hands before '99. I'd like to know if the Investolator spotted this way back when-- there must be Tedheads out there who saw this coming. Darn... shoot. I had lots of play money in 99. If only... I'm going to twist my back trying to kick myself.

When I see charts like this I wonder if I'm going to be spending my entire life accumulating a public record of missed opportunities like this one. Man, this one was perfect. What a humdinger. Have you ever heard anyone say that they have "no regrets". I have. They could not possibly have ever seen a chart like this knowing what TW knew.

Okay, I've had my therapeutic cry in public. Ya'll have to admit, I think, if you look at ENE, that that was a great run. Very sweet... I can just taste it. We've got to think about creating a "hall of fame" for stocks patterns like this that fit the TW frame so well-- in retrospect. I'll print out the charts and hang em on my walls as "art". I can stare at 'em for hours probably. Seeing curves like this is like girlwatching-- they just throw you into a dreamstate.

Somebody, stop meeee! What a chart.

Totally beautiful run, eh Rick? Heck, the break in 98 gave about a 3-bagger. The break in 89 gave a 7-bagger. Still took real patience to cash out, eh?

Good thing these happen all the time.

Been watching some Senate hearings on CSPAN about electric prices in California and the whole deregulation question. Interesting stuff.
