I have been watching GNL for awhile. New to being an investolator. Anyone have any comments about this stock?

No basing period. This bird will need a few years before it is mature enough to consider. However, there are many other great opportunities available.

Take a look at Cole National (CNJ), Main Street and Main (MAIN), Checker's Drive Inn (CHKR): long basing periods with recent breakouts.

Check, of course, the gold stocks, which have had long basing periods, and have, or are about to complete breakouts of resistance, breakouts of long triangles, and completing cup and handle formations. IMO, this where there is the MOST opportunity, at this time.

Gold has been in a 20 year bear market. There is a lot of price and time to make up. The precious metals have a lot going for them now.
