I was listening to one of SC's. local radio stations this morning, they were playing all of NE's songs including BBD, Ralph, Bobby and Johnny. It was truly a great thing hearing all of those songs but I heard some rather unsettling news and I wanted to make sure this was'nt just hear-say so I decided to write you guys (because I know that you'll keep it real). One of the young ladies called in professing to know Ronnie Devoe (personally) and stated that NE had been dropped from Bad Boy and I wanted to know if this was true? There are so many people out there perpetrating like they know these guys and if they do that's a good thing, but be truthful! Don't repeat things unless you know for a fact that it's the truth. I need to know if this is true because there were a lot of listeners this morning and all fans of NE and the radio station has supported these guys since day one; so we need the real story! Thanks

I recently saw Puffy (xcuse me, P Diddy) on 106th & Park on BET promoting his artist Loon. The hosts asked him who he was currently working with and New Edition was one of the artists he named. This was maybe a month or so ago, so I'm not sure. It was around the time Loon's album was set to drop (maybe someone knows when that was, I'm not a big Loon fan ). So, hopefully they are still with the label (or some label) and their album will be dropping soon. I CANNOT WAIT for another tour, the movie, book, etc. I saw them on tour in 2002 and it was absolutely UNBELIEVABLE! Anyway, there's my "two cents".

I hope that someone can help me. I have been trying to find the song "Helplessly in Love". It was from the movie Dragnet, and on the soundtrack. I can't find the soundtrack anywhere. I was so excited to see NE featured on a new show on BET called "Blueprint". The show could have been better. The hosts asked questions that true die-hard fans already know the answers to. However,I love that they are still getting luv 20 years later and they deserve it! I had the PLEASURE of seeing them in concert when they came to DC in July. They didn't miss a step! I screamed the ENTIRE time like I was 12 yrs old again! And I'm a grown *#! woman! It was great! I still dream about meeting them and telling them how much they have touched my life. Absolutely cannot WAIT until the new album, book and movie come out.

I'm trying to figure out the name of a NE song that had a harder edge to it and a pretty decent rap over a hip hop beat. I think they sampled the drum from Straight Outta Compton. Part of the video had them rapping in the street. I think all six members were in it. I'm stumped !!!!!!

I also saw them at Chastain and fell in love all over again. My friend and I commented on how good they looked and that they actually looked better at 30!!!!That was encouraging. I saw them in Atlanta on the 4th of July. Needless to say, I got excited all over again. They were sooo wonderful. They had the moves and the singing down. They still got it baby!! And the fact that they did a complete show with no breaks for changing clothes or the set was impressive. They had old school mentality and it just brought back exciting memories. I am and will always be a true, huge New Edition fan and the concert proved that New Edition still had many fans just like me. They were and are number one in my book.

When N.E. was here in D.C. to perform they did a radio broadcast/breakfast with fans the day of the concert. One fan asked about their marital status'and Ralph stated he was "single" but had children. So I'm assuming that means he's divorce. Don't quote me. Either way, he seems to be doing fine. I have been in love w/ him since '83 so I wish him the best no matter what.

At least one of them said they were married. The reason I remember is because every woman in the audience expressed their disappointment and they were joking about it. How do you know that this is the real reason why Bobby left N.E.? We all can make our own assumptions about what actually happened, but it's assumptions that like these that ruin comfortable working relationships. We have to keep in mind that unless we're actually there as witnesses (and even if you were) everything is not to be reported. Different Personalities Honey, we deal with that everyday.
