Hey ... anyone been watching this? It's a tvb serial, shown every night at 9 o'clock (i believe) in HK ... I've been downloading it (:
Mi Xue has a minor role in this as Ron Ng's mother. This serial stars Ron Ng, Sammul Chan, Tavia Yeung, Fiona Sit. Basically the young bunch are police cadets, and they train, and learn important life lessons, and have various family crises. Oh, and fall in love. And quarrel. Etc.
Miu Kiu Wai plays Lee Sir/Sunny, the obligatory stern officer with the heart of gold. Because he is Miu Kiu Wai, of course, he fleshes it out to be much more than that. He has a bigger role than Mi Xue, is one of the stars in fact, so he gets to do loads of cool stuff. He is also in love with Mi Xue's character, which is nice.
Mi Xue plays a divorcee, Ivy, who has left her husband because of his infidelity. Her children Lap Mun (Ron Ng) and Miki don't know this, however, and try their darnedest to get them back together. Lee Sir is her old classmate and she often turns to him for help when she runs into trouble, in her renovation business or otherwise. There are, of course, the inevitable misunderstandings with her children detesting him as the villain who tore their family apart. Mun, obviously, clashes with him repeatedly within the academy, and their improving relationship is meant to be a sign of his growth. Ivy also has some sort of tumour in a blood vessel in her ear. It's not life threatening; please don't worry; as far as I can see its only value is to have her faint at strategic points of the story. Her role in all this is to resist reconciliation with her ex (to Ron Ng's pain), be the unattainable object of desire for Lee Sir (to Miu Kiu Wai's pain), facilitate her son's relationship with his girlfriend (Tavia Yeung, I think), and be hurt and misunderstood by her son so to teach him the valuable life lessons of selflessness and considering the needs of others.
I'm being deliberately vague here, do people want more details? I don't think I can say much more without giving away important plot twists. Who else saw it? It's her most recent -- there are more coming soon, but I think this is the latest release. She's awfully pretty, besides being rather good as this doting mother type, with the capacity for getting all pained and aggrieved. And pretty! Can't say that enough (:

haha...... i'll be the first to want your summary... hee
I don't like the ending where Sunny was shot to death. I have waited for so long for Ivy to accept him. How can he die like that?! It's unfair to him and Ivy. Moreover, i dislike Lee Zi Hung's character. How can he be forgiven so easily? He had been hurting Ivy several times, how can Ivy forgive him just for the sake of her children??? Besides this, there's no reason for Ivy not accepting Sunny initiallly after discovering that he was in love with her for so many years. Puzzled + confused!!!
How can Sunny die? I haven't even see him getting married with Ivy... !
I don't like Isaac (Ron Ng), he's so pampered, and yup, hurting Ivy's heart by being rude to her. I knew he's just being filial to her but not to that extent to be rude by saying all sorts of hurting words(to me is nonsense), right? Utterly disappointed by the story + ending

Even when she's in jeans and T-shirt, she still looks gorgeous.
Academy 02
Sunny has known Ivy since secondary school, and has been secretly in love with her since then. From single to marriage, and from marriage back to single again, Sunny's love for her had never changed. However, in this clip, though moved, Ivy told Sunny that she will be cancelling off her divorce with her husband. This torns Sunny's heart deeply, deeply!

Trying to conceal her feelings but failed. Astounded to find her husband proposing divorce (Is this a blessing to Michael Miu's fans?)
Academy 03
Not willing to her suffering from the torment of "staying" with him, Ivy's husband finally propose a divorce. Should I consider this as his retribution? Perhaps! Serves him right for cheating on Ivy!

I find this MV quite nice, mainly talking about Lee Sir secretly in love with Ivy. The backgroung music is Mong But Liu Lei (Wang4 Bu4 Liao3 Ni3) sung by Alan Tam.
