Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself,
unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you, unless you about in the Me."
I am the vine, you are the branches. The one who abides in me while I abide
in him produces much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.
It's the time of the month that we will be spending 48 hour Prayer Vigil!
The theme for this month is to abide in Christ To be remided that when we abide
in Him, He will bear much fruit in us. Just as the branch can only bear fruit
by the nourishment and provision of its life source, the vine, we too must find
our motivations to be pure and our desire to be Him first and foremost as we watch
Him bear fruit through us to bring Him all the glory!
Prayer is our privilege as God's children and it is more effective when we abide
in Him. Prayer is one of the very effective weapons to fight the spiritual enemies.
Abiding close with Him, help us discern His will for us and for our loved ones.
It gives us sensitivity in praying in accordance to HIS will.
Therefore let us continue to be bold in our relentless prayers.
Let us thank our Almighty God for continous strength and undying hope!
We are always filled with joy as HE continued to amaze us with all the
answered prayers HE blessed us with.
As we continue to pray with confidence, we believe that HE will always answer
our prayers according to HIS will and plan, so together we will continue to
lift up all our concerns!
We are inviting everyone to join & pray with us in spirit and in truth.
Thank you Forum owner & moderators for allowing this special event to happen here.
God bless us all!

ABIDING in CHRIST
June 11 2010, 7:58 PM
ABIDING in CHRIST
The most important factor in our walk with Jesus Christ is to abide in him. The more we abide in Christ, the more we will have peace, victory over sin, and be In His Steps. What does it mean to abide in Christ? Let's first look at the definition for the word abide.
to wait for
to endure without yielding
to bear patiently
to accept without objection
to remain stable or fixed in a state
to continue in a place
Synonyms: Stay, continue, bear
ABIDING: enduring, continuing
To abide has to do with the concept of 'being' instead of 'doing'. Doing in relation to the Christian walk is: reading your Bible, going to church, praying, witnessing, doing good works, fleeing sin, etc. These are all good things to do as a Christian. These are things we should be doing. If we are not doing these things our walk with God and others will suffer. However, if we are doing these things just because we are suppose to, or we are doing them in our own strength, we will not have victory or peace and miss out in having an intimate relationship with Christ. If we are not careful, we can become works oriented instead of Christ oriented.
To Abide in Christ is to be in the 'being' mode. We still are doing the things that God has called us to, but we are doing it in His strength. Abiding in Christ is about having an intimate relationship with Him. The relationship is more important than the things we do or don't do. The more we are abiding in Him, the more we will be faithul. We will hear His voice clearer, not be works oriented, and have more peace in our life. To abide is to experience His presence.
Let's explore the definition of abide:
To wait for-We as Christians need to spend much more time waiting on God. By this we mean spending time with God, seeking His will, not jumping ahead of Him.
To endure without yielding-To be determined to experience God's presence.
To bear patiently-To abide in Christ when we don't feel like it. To be patient waiting for God to reveal His will and Himself.
To continue in a place-We need to spend more time, staying in His presence.
If we are abiding in Christ, we can be assured that we will walk IN HIS STEPS.
Abiding in Christ is a process. We don't get there over night. So don't get discouraged if it seems hard to just 'rest in Him'. Enjoy the mountains, the ocean, the blue skies (even the thunder and lightning), the green pastures (even the hot desert). As you enjoy God's creation, you will sense His presence. Abiding will come. Stop and 'smell the roses'.

The ABC's of Salvation:
June 11 2010, 7:59 PM
Despite the "wisdom" and foolishness of the world, God has made perfect Salvation simple. "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13). Your salvation experience is the beginning of your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The steps to salvation are as simple as "A.B.C."
Click on the first word for more info:
A. Admit that you are a sinner in need of God.
B. Believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again for your sins.
C. Confess Jesus Christ as Lord of your life.
The following prayer is one you can say right now to confess Jesus as Lord and ask Him to save you:
Dear God, I admit I am a sinner in need of You. Please forgive me of my sins and give me abundant life here on earth and eternal life with You in heaven. I believe Jesus died and rose again for my sins. I confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Hope and Trusting GOD!

But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day!" Habakkuk 2:3 (LB)
"We all have to go through these waiting periods. Even Jesus waited for thirty years in the carpenter's shop before setting out on his public ministry. "
Even as you make a decision to follow the dream God places in your heart, you can expect a delay. God will not fulfill your dream immediately because this is another step toward building your faith.
In Habakkuk 2, God says, "These things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled."
In this step of faith-building you will most likely start asking the question, "When, Lord? When are you going to answer my prayer?"
And we hate to wait. We don't like to wait in a doctor's office, or in traffic jams, or at restaurants, or for Christmas presents, or for anything else. But what we hate worst of all is waiting on God.
Have you ever been in a hurry when God wasn't? It's so irritating! You're ready, but God isn't. God wants to work on you before he works on the project. Every believer must go through the University of Learning to Wait (ULW). Some of us are still working on our degrees from ULW!
Noah waited 120 years from the time he started building the ark until it began to rain.
Abraham was told he would be the father of a great nation and didn't have a child until he was ninety-nine.
God told Moses he would be the leader to lead his people out of four hundred years of slavery, but then made him wait in the desert forty years.
Joseph spent years in prison before God raised him up and he became the ruler God wanted him to be.
God had David anointed as king, but then David waited for years until he actually got to be king.
We all have to go through these waiting periods. Even Jesus waited for thirty years in the carpenter's shop before setting out on his public ministry.
Why do we wait? It teaches us to trust in God. We learn that his timing is perfect. One of the facts we have to learn is this: God's delay never destroys his purpose.
A delay is not a denial. Children must learn the difference between "no" and "not yet," and so must we. Many times we think God is saying, "No," but he is saying, "Not yet."

Today, I want you to know
June 12 2010, 7:26 AM
God's plans for your life are so much greater than you can imagine.
Whenever you experience trouble, challenges and difficulty the lemons of life God's desire isn't just to bring you through it or for you to just survive! His purpose is to reward you by making something GREAT out of what seems hopeless or feels painful.
God's promise is so amazing to us! When we get a dose of trouble, when we get lemons in life, God's heart for us isn't to just pay us back. He wants to give us double for our trouble.
Maybe you've lost your job or had some really bad financial breaks lately. You can get discouraged and cynical and feel bad for yourself. Or you can trust that God's going to "make some lemonade"; you can stay encouraged and believe that He's preparing a much better job for you even now.
Or it could be you've had a major blow-up in one of your most cherished relationships. You can cast blame, hold on to your pain and refuse to forgive. Or you can choose to forgive, keep loving that person, and believe that through this misunderstanding God is going to take your relationship to a whole new level of trust and enjoyment.
Whenever you go through challenges, God's desire isn't to "reimburse" you . . . He wants to promote you beyond where you were before!
Victoria and I want to encourage you today to continue trusting in the goodness of God. He won't let you down. Continue to put your hope and trust in Him!
Expect to come out BETTER than you were before. Enlarge your vision and allow God to breathe new life into your situation. Stop talking about how big your problems are and start talking about how big your God is!
God loves you so much, and I want you to know you've not yet begun to see all that God has prepared for your life. It's so much better than you've ever imagined!
The Moment We Pray
June 12 2010, 7:13 PM
"My enemies will retreat when I call to you for help"
(Psalm 56:9, NLT)
Are you believing for God to do something in your life today? I want to encourage you because God is already working behind the scenes on your behalf! Just because you don't see anything happening, doesn't mean that God isn't working. The moment we pray, God sets the miracle into motion. The thing we have to remember is that God doesn't say, "I'll deliver you in one hour, or next week, or Tuesday at 5:00 p.m." No, He doesn't put a time frame on it. That's where trust comes in. We have to know that our enemies retreat as soon as we call on Him for help. We have to choose to go back to the place of peace knowing that He is working things out.
Today, shake off the temptation to get discouraged during the waiting process. Shake off offense, shake off discouragement. Remember, all it takes is one touch of God's favor to take you years ahead. Keep standing, keep believing, keep hoping because the answer is on its way the moment we pray!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, thank You for hearing me the moment I pray. Today I choose to trust that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf no matter what I see in the natural. I will praise You today and always because You are faithful. I love You and bless You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
