I am currently talking to my attorney on this issue. I also suffer from PTS. Not only being misinformed about the possible side-effects of the tubal surgery, but my doctor also performed the surgery in a diiferent method than I had agreed to. I agreed to have my tubes BANDED and the doctored used bipolar cautery. I do not know if any lawsuit has been filled against any doctors for PTS, since it is not "medically recognized" by ACOG and many OB/GYNs. I believe that from some of the medical articles and studies that are out there to support this syndrome, that eventually there will be a successful lawsuit. I believe that it will never hurt to try to file against the doctor(s) that damaged you, but unfortunately the law only gives us so much time. I would hate to look back years from now and ask myself, "what if I would have tried"? So, now I will know - I am trying. I feel that one win for one of us, would be a win for all. It would be a great stepping stone. . .
