My cousin's wife got her tubes tied about a year and 3 mos. ago after delivering her 5th child. She just called me on Mother's Day and told me she is pregnant. Of course I didnt believe her and thought she was full of crap. Then she got serous and told me she was not lying. She had 3 pregnancy tests done, a blood test, and finally a vaginal ultrasound and there was her proof. She is in fact pregnant. Not a tubal or ectopic, thank God! Just a regular pregnancy. She is shocked and upset cuz her husband is in the army and has orders to go back to Iraq in March of 2005 and he was planning on getting out but now doesnt know how to afford a 6th kid. The doc's were dumb-founded and dont quite get how pointA got to Point B with no tube's. She said the doc showed her the stumps and this was just meant to be.

I am a mother if 5(4boys,1girl) and have had my tubes tied for 3 years. I have regreted it since and am very sad all of the time, esp. now to see that she got pregnant with a daughter I am wanting so bad even after having the same procedure done as I have. I have been searching the web and because I chose to have my tubes tied my insurance will not pay for my reversal or for Invetro fertilization. So basiclly, if you have money, you have 2 choices. Invetro(IVF) that can be done without tubal reversal or get a tubal reversal and try it the old fashioned way. Hope that info helped.
