What Doctors Don’t Tell You About Tubal Ligation

Loss of A Life

by Opal

Dear Tracy,

I am a desperate woman. A tubal ligation ruined my life also, but my daughter, unconvinced that the procedure had anything to do with my years of excruciating PMS, black migraines, weight gain, extreme anxiety and loss of stamina will in three short weeks have the same thing done to her that has destroyed a great deal of my life. If anyone knows a doctor who believes us, please advise asap. Mara will only listen to a medical authority and they are lying to her.
In addition Mara has MS. She can not afford to damage her body in this way. Her last baby brought on extreme psychosis, and she sees this tubal ligation as a way to prevent future unwanted pregnancies and danger of another serious psychosis. I have pleaded with her to wait until after this new baby is at least six months old before she does this. That will at least give her time to know if she is going down without the added boost toward psychosis that the tubal will give her. I had a tubal after my fourth child and I have paid the horrendous price for 23 years. If anyone knows of a doctor in Alberta who really understands this issue, please advise.
Opal
