What Doctors Don’t Tell You About Tubal Ligation

failed tubal and symptoms

by

For the first time I am researching post tubal ligation. I became pregnant after a failed tubal ligation in 1999 after my 3rd child was born. 6 weeks after the surgery I was told I was preganant with my 4th child. The child was ectopic and I would have to have surgery to remove the baby by the 8th week, because it was life threatening. By the 8th week, when surgery was the only option, I went in for the test and to schedule an unltrasound. The baby was no longer ectopic. The baby had somehow become attached to the uterus and was alive and growing. I decided to keep him against the doctors advice. The whole pregnancy was chalenging and along the way several medical problems arose with both the baby and I. The baby was born perfect. He is now 4 years old and the only signs I see is that he is small for his age & is not potty trained and his language skills are that of an early 3 yr old. With the doctors advice I received yet a 2nd surgery to remove the area of the tubes that had been banded and burnt and redo the tubal ligation in 2000. After reading through some of the "UNTOLD" information about the after effects, I was in shock to see that most of what I read, I was experiencing. After 4 years I still have a lot of the the symptoms. With the second surgery, it was suggested that I too take the pill to control my unpredictable periods, which to date I have not taken. All of the other issues have not been appropriately addressed by my doctor because of the lack of information they too may have. I plan on taking a printout of this web site with all the information I got from it and highlighting all of what applies to me and see if they take a different approach in treatment.

I am more than happy to share even more detailed information with you or anyone interested in hearing it. I feel so much better that I am not going nuts and there is many more woman experiencing the same problems and issues.

Please feel free to e-mail me at leticia30@cox.net. I would love to hear from anyone and I'm also interested in making sure someone like OPRAH or DR PHIL get a hold of this SUBJECT and do a special show.

Sincerely

Leticia
