What Doctors Don’t Tell You About Tubal Ligation

yes, every woman is different and the are some that have little to no problems. You are not out of the norm in general but considering how many women ARE having serious problems, this is definitely something that we need to know about before signing a consent form. I had a lot of problems from birth control pills also, some of them may have become life threatening. My doctor will not even prescribe me birth control pills, to help with my hormonal imbalance since the tubal ligation, due to the serious risk involved. I honestly do not know what was worse for me, the birth control pills or the tubal ligation. Both have ruined my quality of life to the point that some days do not seem worth living. I only took birth control pills for a short time due to the side effects, and I went back to normal very quickly when I stopped taking them, but with surgery you cannot just *Stop* doing it.

I was a perfectly healthy woman before the tubal. I am only 30 years old now and have no other health problems, but this past year (since the tubal) has been hell for me and my husband. My hormones are so out of whack that I think I am going crazy much of the time. If I had known that the tubal ligation would do this to me then I would have opted for celibacy before doing this to my body, my mind, and my life.
