Hi all! I am new to this board and so glad I found this site. I thought maybe I was crazy and all alone with how I felt. My story...
I just had my third child by c-section in May 04. I opted to have the tubal done while in the OR post delivery of my daughter. I breastfed my daughter, so I've not had a period yet. However, we stopped bf about 3-4 weeks ago due to low milk supply, which at first I attributed to having 3 babies under 4, working full time, and just not having the energy to fight for a full milk supply. After reading some of your posts, I realize it probably was symptematic. In the past month or so (dd is 4 mos old) I have gained probably 20 pounds. This is unreal! It's like I go to bed one size and wake up 2 sizes bigger. What is up with that. Just recently I've been suffering from chronic fatigue, I mean so sleepy I can't function hardly. As well as some nausea, etc. I've still not started my pd, which of course I've attributed to the bf. However, after reading your posts once again, I think to myself...could I be pregnant again? So soon? And after having the tubal? How often does this happen? Is it possible to get pregnant after a tubal and then actually carry a baby to term? Does this happen? Please tell me I am not crazy. I plan to call my OBGYN today and schedule an appointment to have my hormones checked. Please feel free to email if you have any comments/answers.
