What Doctors Don’t Tell You About Tubal Ligation

A note about possible research guide on PTLS

by

I am planning on having a tubal reversal or tubal anastomosis. I am currently monitoring a discussion active since last year about PTLS. One of the things you might consider when researching PTLS is the reversal of symptoms when TR is performed, following a tubal ligation (TL). This will bring to light more truth about whether the complaints marking PTLS are the result of normal changes in a woman's cycle due to age, etc. In other words, if their symptoms (which, according to the boards, are alleviated IMMEDIATELY following a TR) reverse and these women's cycles go back to "normal" following the TR procedure and before becoming pregnant, then the logical conclusion is that these doctors/caregivers who are waving the symptoms away as normal age-based changes may have to rethink their position, as their beliefs fall opposite of fact. It makes you wonder. Thanks for your work. I read about you years ago and I have been comforted to know I wasn't "crazy" for thinking my TL caused some of my discomfort. Thanks for being one to stand up for us! Good luck in the future.
