What Doctors Don’t Tell You About Tubal Ligation

Confused

by Starr

I was 20 years old when I got my tubal done, very young, and not really understanding of the procedure. I had already had 2 children and I had my family really pushing my not to have anymore, so I got my tubes clipped. The doctor never informed me of any problems that I could possibly have after the procedure and I never read anything about it. I found this site about 3 years ago, but never really believed that *it could happen to me*.

I am 27 years of age now. My periods being very regular before have now started coming every 45-50 sometimes more days... Insomnia is horrible, I am constantly laying awake all night long and can not fall asleep for the life of me then during the day I am just tired... I do not have any energy. I am loosing alot of hair (hair is everywhere almost like a dog shedding) but getting hair where I shouldn't. I started to get hair on the top of my feet, top of my hands and that little light moustache that all woman have thats not visible is getting alot more visible. I have gained over the past year 40 pounds, and I look into the mirrow and this is just not me! Not to mention the sex drive had decreased...

A few years ago I was found to have poly cyctic ovaries, which I do not know if that is linked to this or not. I never could believe that this could be connected to my tubes getting clipped... The worst part is I feel alone, depressed and I do not feel like a woman anymore. I am trying to save the money to have them reversed but would this help? Will everything go back to normal again if they are reversed?

I am really confused here... I just seem to young for all of this. But I guess my main question is can this be PTS?
