I had a tubal ligation when I was 24, after the birth of my third child. I always looked like a ran a marathon after giving birth to each of my 3 children. After a few hours of sleep, some food and my shower while in the private maternity room, I looked (my face, attitude general well being-like I had not even given birth just hours before. My stomach still looked about 5 months pregnant but I had that normal light as a feather feeling.
I had my tubes tied the next morning. I had horrible experience. I was bloated for over a weak, and had a spinal fluid leak to add to it. The dr. kept losing her grip on my left tube. I felt all the first of it and they knocked me with another sedative. She was supposed to cut tie and burn the ends. I even drew this out on specific paper and signed to this. I had to find out throught the OR report and later confirmed with surgery 2 yrs later that she did it differently. She cut a small piece out of each tube and left them, no tying, or burning. I assume she did that way incase I ever changed my mine and wanted more children. It was worse than having my first child without an epidural. I scince then have had severe mood swing was diagnosed with borderling personality disorder, said it was all in my head, I was going crazy. The dang doctors kept trying to put me back on the pill and I just had agreed to about 3 months ago. I have even an ectopic pregnancy that the Dr's chalked up to (You just wanted to be pregnant again!), it was just made up in your mind. 2 yrs after I was diagnosed with the ectopic pregnancy (not ruptured tube)afer laprascopic exploratory surgery for endometriosis-none found. Dr. L (she is wonderful) she said "Unfortunatly, I see this every day in young women and in fact all ages of women about 5-6 years after they had a tubal ligation. Their hormones are all messed up, deppressed, etc.. and I have to advize the pill." She told me that this might be trial and error to find the right pill. And she coulnd't promise that a TRS would be affective, also that most insurance companies will not approve or even pay for a TRS. We can't afford a TRS.
I am 30 now. I had to have 5 small 2 and 3 inch pieces of my veins removed in my right left due to severe vericose veins that dissappeard after the birth of my first two children and never did after my last child. I had this surgery at 28. This is way to young for that in my opinion. After 6 years of very horrid periods lasting 10 days, chronic crapms and arthritis type pain, mood swings and more meds, of antidepressants, muscle relaxers, ibruprofen etc.. I dont' know what else to do. Any advice?
Oh I am logging my cyle this month starting from 2 days before the first day of my cyle-when my period started. Yuck and Pain.
