What Doctors Don’t Tell You About Tubal Ligation

Dr. Says it's because you've stopped taking the pill...

by Starr

From my own personal history, I would say your doctor is completely wrong.

I was never on the pill before I had my TL, but I did need to go on it after my reversal to help my horomones get back to normal again.

I had my tubes clipped for 7 years and around the 5th year was when I started noticing problems, and of course in the 7th year was when the problems because horrific. I was loosing my hair, irrelgular and really painful periods, gained excensive wieght and alot more... due to the fact that I had gotten PCOS, my tetosterone levels were extremely high... (lvl's equivelent to a 16 year old boy) all this in the past 2 years wow!

I went and got reversed, stayed on the BC pill for 3 months and some other androgen one... and now pretty much back to normal again :)

My recommendation for you is to stick with the pill, or find some other form of birth control, there are several out there. I would never reccomend getting a tubal for anyone just because if my own personal experience and like most people the doctor I got my tubal from stated to me that there would not be any side effects what so ever.

She was wrong...
