What Doctors Don’t Tell You About Tubal Ligation

I was 24 when I had my TL

by

After having my second child at 24 I had a TL done during my C-Section. Since then I have experienced IBS, muscle & Joint pain, depression, irritability, vaginal dryness, loss of interest in sex, hair loss, and many other symptoms of PTLS. I wasn't aware of PTLS until recently, so I did some research on the net and found the site WWW.tubal.org/symptoms_of_pts.htm. When I went down the symptoms of post tubal syndrome I felt cheated out of my happiness and the experience of the past 13 years of my life. I have 27 of the 45 symptoms listed; it's not fare that I had to live with depression and pain for so long because every doctor I went to treated the symptom and not the cause. If I was warned before having the surgery I would have chosen another birth control alternative
