I'm so upset with myself

I just found out about this website yesterday after telling my friend that I have been experiencing some changes in me since I had a TL in Oct. 05. She told me that there are side effects after a TL and I didn't believe her at first because my Dr.(whom I've been using for over 15 years) told me there were no side effects what so ever. I completely trusted my Dr. and didn't even give it another thought. However, I am so upset with myself that I did not do my own research before I had the TL. I know now that I would not have had the TL after learning about all the side effects (especially after hearing what other women are going through). I am experiencing the same effects such as heavy menstrual bleeding, major cramps during ovulation, mood swings, and no interest in sex. I didn't know what was wrong with me but now I do. I was almost to the point of seeking a therapist for my mood swings.
I so wish I didn't have the TL and if I could reverse it I would but I had the coagulation (burned) tubal ligation and I have read that you cannot have a reversal due to vessels being damaged. Is that true? I am highly upset that my dr. did not tell me about the side effects. I would think he would have since he gave me info. about birth control pills and its side effect, and he would be honest with me and tell me about the side effects of TL as well. Why don't they tell you? I am so overwhelmed after reading and knowing I do have symptoms of PTLS. I am making an appt. with my Dr. next week to see what he has to say about my side effects.
