Since the Essure proceedure(putting a mirco-insert into the tubes) does NOT involve any incisions, cutting or burning, it seems like it would not damage the blood supply to the ovaries or uterus like TL.
Any input on this?
I'd really like some form of permanent birth control. I'm 46 and have three children. Because I found out I have fibroids, I'm trying to avoid any estrogenic substances and that includes even spermicide used with a diaphram or contraceptive foam.
