Thank God for this site... I thought I was crazy. 3+ years ago I had my Tubal. I asked the doctor "are there any side effects of this operation", she said "NO, NONE". About months after my tubal, the symptoms started and every month they get worst. My tubes were cut and burned, so reversal isn't an option. I don't want any more children, I just want my life back.
Once my period starts for the next 14 days or so, its bliss. Then, may God Help Me I PAINFULLY ovulate - NOW two straight horrible weeks of - drastic mood swings, uncontrollable water GAIN, explosive temper, no interest in sex, hot flashes, mind numbing cramps, a little hair growth.. did I say mood swings (they are just so severe I have to mention them twice). I find myself apologizing for two weeks due to my temper and just plain meaness. I'm single... so as you can imagine this is a difficult life to have for a single girl LOL. I have to laught to keep from crying!
But the worst part of all of this... my doctor tells me its all in my head!! SHE says I should go back on the pill to help my hormones. I don't want to go back on the pill because of the health risks. My GYN told me if things don't get better she'll give me a hyster! WHAT... I'm 37!!!!! No doctor that I've spoken to will recognize PTLS!
Does anyone have any insite at all for me.
