What Doctors Don’t Tell You About Tubal Ligation

Prozac

by angie

I had my tubal done in 1998. I thought I was going crazy too until I found this site a couple years ago. My mood swings are like WHOA! Along with the pains in my side, long painful periods, the anxiety, chest pains, fatigue, BV, and did I mention mood swings? I finally just gave in to Prozac. It has helped. I can still feel anger at times, but now I don't feel the need to give in to the mood swings anymore. I absolutely dreaded the thought of being "one of those people on pills" but this PTLS is real and I needed to get my life back. The doctor didn't appear to believe PTLS was real, but she agreed I have something going on. I have no insurance so this is what I can afford for now. My husband thinks I'm back to my old self again, I seem to laugh more and just FEEL better all together. All the symptoms are not gone, but I don't wake up feeling like kicking or choking anyone for no reason anymore. That's a big plus in my life these days.
