What Doctors Don’t Tell You About Tubal Ligation

I need help...

by

I had my tubaligation 13 years ago after the birth of my only son. I was 22 years old and everyone that I knew couldn't believe a doctor would give me one at my age. I only ever wanted one child, a son. And when I got him I was done. I was never told about any side effects? Within 6 months of my tubaligation I was severely depressed and hated the world. The child I wanted more than anything? I used to look at him crawling around and visualize a semi truck smashing into my car and taking us both out of this world. I had good moments but they were all forced. I turned to God and found an inner peace which helped a lot. But my mood was always touchy and everyone around me knew that it didn't take much to set me off. I couldn't stop gaining weight. When my son was 3 my hair started falling out, I was suddenly allergic to dairy, was diagnosed with a heart problem and also found out that I had degenerating disk disease in my back. The heart problem got better but then I had chronic fatique, severe allergies and chronic sinusitis. By this time I just figured I was unhealthy and did the best I could in life. Now, almost 14 years later, I have insomnia, hot flashes, night sweats, severe PMS that last about 14 days, anxiety, severe mood swings, high blood pressure, severe bloating, depression to the point I don't want to leave the house, and beginning last week, I know have panic attacks. Two of them in one week. And both while I was sitting at my desk at work. I went to my doctor and he told me that my blood pressure is still high even though I've been taking water pills and added an actual blood pressure pill. He told me that I now have severe panic disorder and gave me Zoloft. He also gave me a note to take me out of work while I adjust to the medication. My sister just told me that she heard having a tubaligation can cause early menopause so I got online to look for info and here I am. I cried for an hour after realizing that I'm not a freak. Can someone please let me know if they know of any OB's in the Sacramento area that are familiar with this and can help me. My email address is only1deana@msn.com.
