Anyone know about medical coverage for reversal for relief?
by Kyndra
I found this site when I was researching my symptoms. I have been seeing my doctor repeatedly for debilitating periods (I can't leave the house, they are so heavy) Heart racing and hard beating, massive hair loss (almost a handful a week), severe pms pain and mood, anxiety, and recently hypothyroid which there is no explanation for (I am healthy otherwise).
He has put me on birth control (and I'm FIXED!) he's given me ambien, because I can't sleep, and I am on Zoloft for anxiety and depression (My life is manageable on my own, but for some reason, I can't do it)
The birth control didn't work, and I have had no relief for the PMS and the flow.
Now I wonder what he's going to say to me when I go in and tell him this needs to stop. I was told no side effects back in 2000 when I had the clips put on post-second baby.
I want my life back. I use overnight maxis to get me through 30 minutes of the day, and I can't go anywhere (even work) because of the eminent devastation when I have an accident. How does it feel to be over at a friend's for a gathering and ask her if you can borrow a pair of her pants because you need to change? This is my life.
What I need to know is if there's a doctor or something I can refer my doctor to, so that he can help me, and merit a reversal as a medically needed procedure so my insurance will cover it? I can't afford 5 grand for this, and I want it to stop.
Thanks
