What Doctors Don’t Tell You About Tubal Ligation

Now I know I'm not crazy

Most of the symptoms described hair loss, chronic fatigue, depression, stiff joints, hot flashes, weight gain started almost immediately after my tubal ligation in 1991. My last child was born in 1990 and I had decided after 5 kids that was enough.. I regretted my decision almost immediately, not because I wanted more kids but because I felt horrible. Being of Puerto Rican ancestry, an older lady friend of mine said that all my ailments were because of having my tubes tied. I thought she doesn't know anything with her old wives tales.....but I think she was on to something. We now know how Drs make mistakes too and how medicines and procedures now cause this and that....I've told every young woman I know who say their going to sterilize themselves, DON'T DO IT!!!!. At least more than half have listened...thank GOD. Physicians should be more responsible and tell women the risks....women are trested way differently than men in the medical world, look at how many women die from heart disease. This really pisses me off. Insurance companies should pay for tubal ligation reversal not to have more children but for our physical and mental health......
