What Doctors Don’t Tell You About Tubal Ligation

It has been 13 years.

I had a tubal thirteen years ago. I am now 40. In the last two years I am experiencing pain that radiates down into my vaginal area. Being very athletic, this does pose a problem to my workouts. Now after workouts, somedays I am aleep or barely make it home from a walk. I read the book and look back on all the years and the stuff that went on and how the doctor blew me off on several occasions. I really wish that at the moment during my c-section when he asked me if I was sure if this permanent tubal decision was what I wanted, that I would have said no. But, I do know that my God has sustained me through the years. I had a great thing happen in the last couple of days. One of my friends, who is 40, is having a baby in a few weeks. She felt compelled to email me and ask about tubal ligation. I told her that I have never felt the same after mine and to research on-line concerning this issue. Then I told her to pray about it and see what she felt was best. She wrote me back and thanked me because she saw all that others have and are suffering and SHE IS NOT GOING TO HAVE A TUBAL!!! That is so awesome. If others were informed, how much we can prevent for our sisters!! Even though I am a victim, I will help in any way that I can to inform others of the side effects. At this point, I will be taking natural hormones to see if I can help these symptoms. With one ovary, I am sure that there should have been hormone replacement along time ago. One thing I have a hard time with...doctors. I know there must be good ones out there. Krista
