Is here any indian mates?

Way to attract some of them here lol

"The combat range of LCA is 850-1000 kms and its ferry range is 3000 kms. There is no way you can compare aircraft's based on ferry range.

If you compare aircrafts with ferry range, then F-22 raptor is inferior to MKI.

LCA is designed for indian conditions and threat perceptions. It does not need the range of a MKI. For long range missions India does have the mKI.

I think we are well past the age of DOG-fighting. Hence JF-17 does nto have any advantage over the LCA. I agree that JF-17 might have better manuerability at LOWER SPEEDS but definitely its Inferior to LCA in the supersonic speeds.

In a modern combat scenario, BVR rules over WVR. Hence LCA is designed to be highly stage at supersonic speeds and capable of delivering BVR missiles. That would be sufficient threat to any pakistani fighter. It does not need low speed manuerability. Low speed manuerability is not even in the LCA requirement.

Nobody compares LCA to F-16's. Certainly I dont do it. But most of the pakistanis compare JF-17 to F-16.

The LCA would be better than F-16 A/B blocks because its BVR capable. Secondly, it has some awesome avionics comparable to latest F-16's. LRDE is working on the AESA antannae. That would be a great news if LCA has AESA. "

Elitecavalier, Bun007 welcome to the Forum, Glad to see u guys,

By the way name calling is not appropriate in this forum and whoever does it first should be let known, not to do it.Its one of the rules of this forum.

So i would be glad to see u guys argue with HBN in a civilized way.

 Please.

Take care.
