hard to say if the koreans hate us since the people have no voice. the other countries you have listed are pretty reasonable except I disagree with iraq. the people largely welcome America. judging from the vitriolic comments of greeks on internet forums, they are the most hateful bunch toward America.

kkg your point is well taken and I want to say upfront I don't know as much as you or as much as any turk or greek on the cyprus issue. I must say however, why didn't the greeks stop the turks in 1974? I have read so many accounts on another forum about the capability of the greek military and I have a hard time understanding why America is the target of so much greek hatred. seems to me that the greeks (again, judging from what greek posters unnanimously say) could easily have fought off the cyprus invasion.

The greeks could never have fought off the Turkish invasion! They still cant.
Turkey isnt a country that will stand by and get beat in a war. Turkey is a fighting nation and with over 600,000 soldiers and 250,000 gendarmarie, greece stands NO CHANCE.
Yes they have some high tech weapons but you think Turkey doesnt have weapons either?
If greece thought they could defeat us, they would threaten us about the Aegean. Truth be told, Turkey will be in Athens is a matter of weeks!

well I actually don't believe greece could beat turkey but to hear others tell it, they could have stopped an invasion of cyprus. My point is, why is America criticised so harshly over cyprus? we didn't get involved did we? on another forum, Americans are constantly criticised by greeks and I can't understand why. they have a large number of protests in the streets against America frequently. my vote for the people who hate America the most goes to the greeks.

Mundine, those 4000 tanks are 40 years old....and they wont go anywhere since going to greece from Turkey it is an uphill while the turkish thrace is a flat area, which will be an easy target for the greeks,,,u cant even do anything using the land and u know it, u are just showing of in front of an audience that doesnt know much about greece and Turkey, LOL
Navy Wise u cant get out of your Bosphorus straits because u will be hit from everywhere, the greek islands are well equiped, just the Excocets can damage your navy, imagine the greek navy which is better than yours, with the greek poeple being well known worldwide as the sea people.
Air Force again....if u consider attacking greece the fight will be on the aegian, i wonder what u gonne fight first the better equipped technologically greek planes with Awacs which u dont have yet till the 2007, thats a huge disadvatage dude if u know about planes, they will have locked u before u even know it and get shot down, ....or u gonne protect yourself from the greek islands that have the best designed air defense around those nice islands for that purpose,
Plus u keep losing those F-16s without even fighting greece meantime greece is getting 30 additional Mirages 2000 5K overall, with the optionals, while u have lost 22 F16 and not 20.

Hmmm, I'd agree with Ben's first choice. The US is probably hated the most in Palestine.
The American Marine Division has the highest combat effectiveness in the American armed forces. It seems not enough for our four divisions to surround and annihilate its two regiments.

The Majority of Iranian People do not hate American people, if anything they like them alot.
Its the US government they feel negatively about.

since there will be no war between Turkey and greece in the near future, we will have our AWACS by the time of war. We will have 150 JSF. We would have bought either 50 or 145 AH-1Z King Cobra's and if all goes well we will buy our intended 1000 main battle tanks.You would have Eurofighter yes, but against the JSF...hhahahha

Telsim just yesterday 19/2/2004 signed an agreement where it will be the first private mobile phone company to be set up in Iran. They will have over 30 million subcribers in 10 years time. We would be looking for food? Turkey is SELF RELIANT with food. 40% of Turkey's economy is agriculture! So how can you say we will need basic things like food?
