It is to my belief that NATO has outlived it's purpose.
Over the last decade, NATO has lost significance. Originally conceived by America as an European defence Pact again the Soviet threat, the Soviet threat is gone so it is dragging on its days, with nothing to do.
Nato has not asserted its force and if continues to do this i and many others believe it will go down the path of the league of nations.
You may say that NATO helped in Kosovo, and strill is, but still, would it not be better for them to leave? many scandals have recently appeared about NATO mistreatment of civilians and rape. They are NOT welcome.
USA controls NATo. this is some gross continuation of its policiesd and ideas.

The Future? maybe none. i do not see any long term solution. it should be disolved.
It is time for USA to stop asserting its influence and poking its nose in European affairs. The time of USA is gone, Don't drag it out, or the world will hate you all the more.
USA has always tried to assert influence over many countries which it deems benificial to itself but now these countries are beginning to reject Us, something which has not been seen before. Take Saudi-Arabia as an example. when asked to allow use of the airfields, they were less than willing to help. thats is a stark contrats to the Saudi-Arabia of a decade ago.
This marks a pillar in a beginning of a multi-polar world, a world with no dominant power.. This will be the start for the finishing of US influence aroudn the world. Now, they will not be welcome. It used to be benificial and considered a sign of an ally but now...it is seen negatively as it increases the risk of Terrorists putting those contries on it's 'hit-list' so many countries wish to end this.
TAke japan as an example. already, for many years, people in Osaka have protested and complained about the US forces there. now they have been asked to leave. Many countries will draw inspiration form this and dare to stand up for their countries rights.
So, USA/NATO, here is the worlds ultimatum. Wer do not look up to you anymore. we are not your slaves. we will do what we want WHEN we want, we do not care about what you wish, we do not want to be dominated by your affairs, leave us now!
