Why is Poland after UK the best friend of the USA? Why did they support Iraq war?

I think it has psychological background. For the last 300 years most of the time Poland was not existing or under soviet/russian/communist or german occupation.

So now since 1990 they are absolutely really free. Now they to help the USA to bring democrazy into the world. The polish perhaps also think that they get more respect and influence in Europe/in the world if they are engaged in this war.

But I think that the polish should better concentrate on their economy and infrastructure.

Poland has no highways and no express train service. The conditions of the streets are horrible.
Beside from the capital Warzcaw and some other big cities the rest of the country is 50 years behind western Europe.

I think the polish still have to find their place in Europe. But this place will not be on the same level as Germany, France or Britain. That is what they have to learn. Even if you have some soldiers in Iraq it does not mean that you have more to say in EU Affairs.

You are correct this is a psychological thing of Poland.

Poland has once been a power and conquered Russia and they think they are in no way behind UK,France,Germany etc, therefore they try to do their best to please the big boss USA so they can get a bit "influence" in the world game.

But pity due to the Active Role of Poland in the Iraq War, many people are getting sick of Poland. It is the government not the people I have to say.

A man and a Nation HAS TO find the Appropriate Position in the society or the world, otherwise you make people sick of you.
