"The next large contract after 2008 will probably be an order of a small number (about 25-40) F-22 fighters, and only after 2012 - F-35 (JSF) fighters.
Since 1999 Israel has an official observer status in the JSF program. (Betaon Hel ha-Avir, october 1999, page 8; august 2000, page 86; december 2001, page 46; april 2002, page 15)"
The IDF is virtually an identical clone of the US military (except for the aircraft carriers and stealth bombers.) So this news is not surprising, it was only a matter of time.

I know that Israel is participate in the development of the JSF and will get
it in the future but i did not heard about the F22.
If Israel will get this plane, the F22, it will increase it ability dramatically.

I don't think any Arab air force (except maybe Saudi Arabia or UAE) wants to take on the IAF, certainly not those neighbouring Israel. Not even Egypt can take on the current IAF and I don't think they will be getting any new quality aircraft by the time Israel gets the F-22, unless the miraculously get the money to buy Eurofighters, PAK-FA or J-12.

Israel have air superiority for more then three decades.
Israel have today huge hi tech industry , something we did not have in the 70s.
The F22 and JSF will increase Israel superiority but will not create it.
