illaria is going to kill me for not placing this thread in suggestions and complaints.

I want to purchase a database full of detailed information on military capabilities and weaponry/armaments of each nation that can be a definitive research engine for this forum. I also would like a database that contains histories of countries. do any of you know of anything that we can sign up for/purchase that can be a link located on the forum main page? I am willing to pay a substantial amount and am all ears for any ideas you all may have. all proposals please submit here or e-mail me. I checked out periscope and that costs  several thousand dollars so don't bother with that one.. several hundred I'm okay with.

- Mike, what about we collectively contribute and to sign up for Jane military database! For I have long to read the Jane article; but, I can not afford to paid for and read these site.

- If we all pitch in, hopefully that should be able to get a good site!

BTW: but, you needed to have a ways to only allows members who have paid for the services to read these information; for you don't wanting to paid for data and being used by other sites at your expense!

I agree and I will check into ensuring it can be exclusively used by this forum..great point and thanks again.

also, no need to take up a collection, I can pay for it and want to anyway as long as it is in the hundreds of dollars and not the thousands.
