need that information also dragons post earlier where he said it was about noon.. because I have proven that gmf was opened at a certain time of day while dragon will not repeat for the record when waff was deleted.. dragon said that I should provide a receipt of when I paid for the upgrade of gmf.. I surprised him in front of everyone by agreeing to sending this e-mail to mantis...now he suddenly won't admit to saying waff was deleted at noon as he asserted earlier.

Bharat would know what time it closed he was also there. He pointed it out and started to collect emails. At that time all the other side forums were deleted. But for some reason I couldn’t post. But bharat would know what time.

I know that time.

It was about 19:30 to 20:00 (European Continent Time).

I first saw Suggestion & Complaint Forum gone, then 1 by 1 other subforums gone.

I have screenshots to the Exact time! lolol

Here:

Look what Bharat said in his post:
WAFF is coming to an End.

Here is a copy from the thread I was writing at the WAFF

http://users.ntua.gr/ge00238/Time_of_WAFF_Deletion.zip

HBN made the last post of the thread in 6:39 PM , Eastern European (Greece) time...

If I remember well, the deletion happened about 1 hour later from that post...

That means that the deletion happened at 7:40 PM = 19:40 Eastern European time....

Now... If we subtract 8 hours from Eastern European time to find the Eastern Coast American time,

...We find that deletion happened at 11:40 AM Eastern Coast American time!

Mike Murfy, after my request in the chat sent me the receipt that "network54" sent him when he paid the upgrade for this forum (Global Military)...

It says that it was sent in "24/2/2005 7:17:31 PM"

So : Mike upgraded the "Global Military Forum" 8 hours after deletion.....

So : We can not accuse him for having planned the WAFF's deletion...

The conclusions are yours...

The last time when I was on WAFF is here:
W.European time about 20:00 (UK time 19:00)
At this time most Sub Forums were deleted, only Main Forum open:
http://img89.exs.cx/img89/3884/waff4ar.gif

After that I went for dinner.

About 40 minutes later when I came back, the Main Forum was deleted too.

So I think the final deletion of Main Forum was about 20:30 W.European time (UK time 19:30)

""So : Mike upgraded the "Global Military Forum" 8 hours after deletion.....""

I am confused:
When at 20:30 after WAFF was deleted, I went directly to GMF, and GMF was up and running with many members.

So GMF was up directly after WAFF was gone, not 8 hours later after WAFF was deleted.

Right?

lol Pytheus o Massaliotis

the time displayed in GMF is completely different than that in WAFF.

Look:
Right now in GMF time is 1:38 PM, while in WAFF it should be UK time display like 18:38 or W.European time 19:38.

When sending mails, the time displayed in the local time of the guy who sent mails to you, like in your case, the USA time.

yeah I don't think it was 8 hours later but it was a lenghty time period between waff gone and gmf with upgrades.. and that is my point.. to counter those who say otherwise.. as always, I have proof if anyone wants the proof they can e-mail me...better yet, I might post it here.

All this talk and brouhaha over the death of WAFF is getting to be boring.

Why not you guys get on with your lives and start all over again.

This is supposed to be a military forum, not a Hollywood or Bollywood movie.

Now wipe off those tears and start posting relevant topics!

Crybabies.

- Listen you little bitch of nobody; the old WAFF represent more then just any forum. For there are thousand of hours of works contributed by hundreds of people around the globe.

- What you people are doing; is to siphon off membership, while we are waiting to restore WAFF. This is shameless and very underhanded tactic; worthly of scumbags!

- Once again, I urge you guys to embargo and hold off to post into any other forum; and lets sit tight to restored the old WAFF forum!

- The first priority is to try and restore the Old WAFF; then as a community, we can decide which forum to migrate to! We don't just walk away from thousand of hours works, and allows low life rats to destroy something he have no rights to it!

- Get it, this is not about cry babies; this is about what is right, and proper! If all you dirt bag wanting to siphon off membership while WAFF is down, you are not worthly of this good WAFF community! Get it, get the PHUCK out of here, we don't wanting to see dirty bag of scum around!

Hey calm down a bit Dragonette, I'm not trying to siphon off your precious membership for I have not established another forum.

All I suggested is let's stop yakking over WAFF's untimely demise and start posting relevant topics here at GMF or ANY OTHER WAFF clone as long as they are military-related topics.

Those with most posts and participation survives. That's all there is to it - the strongest survive, nothing more.

Now stop being emotional about it and wipe those dragon tears away.

Or better yet, shut up and put up.

Sorry for being so late here, the last two days have been what I call "good times", girls are always more priority than the forum.

Anyway, to answer Mike's question, I am in Miami, which is EST, but right now, I believe we are GMT-4:00, not GMT-5:00.

It was Thursday, February 24th. I had just gotten home from early release in school, which is 12:00PM. I got home at 12:10PM. After eating and taking a ****, I got on WAFF at 12:40 or so. At 1:00PM, I began realizing that the affiliated forums were being deleted (I pressed refresh on Asia+Pacific Forum). I came back to the main WAFF, and began hastily trying the other forums. None of them worked.
The main WAFF worked for a while longer. I opened up a thread, did the emergency evacuation procedure (lol), and got the emails of all those who were online. I believe we had drkstr (lee), meemperor (fool), russianpride, black shaheen (mehran) and hbn.

I'd say that by 1:10PM EST, the main forum was gone.

Lee added me to his MSN, since I'd given my hotmail address. He gave me the link to the GMF. Then, we had the chat.
