Mystery aircraft

Hi, a friend sent me this jpg of what appears to be a trainer aircraft and asked if I could ID it for him. I uploaded it onto Tinypic for remote linking. I'm stumped:

It's a civilan aircraft, I believe it's sold in kit form and you have to assemple it yourself.... I forget the company name though.
